The story of how my prom date ditched me, and how crazy some women are

I'm bored, so i'm going to tell a story as you can tell by the title. I am going to be a senior in high school (Class of 2018), this happened just a few months ago actually. But to get the whole story, i'll have to go back to January of this year. I had met this girl, we'll just call her Tabby, that's not her real name. Anyway, it was like your typical high school love at first sight type of deal, you've all been there I assume. So I asked her out on valentines day and she said yes. While we dated, from February to May, I truly felt we would be together a while with my naive self lol. I treated her like a queen. I bought her makeup, food (if you're wondering how I get my money, I work a minimum wage job). Whatever she needed, I had provided it for her and it was fun. So in late March, I had asked her to prom. She said yes. So I made preparations. I started saving my money so we would have the best nights of our lives. I had reservations to one of the fanciest french restaurants in the state, I had ordered a limousine, and I had bought her ticket as well. They were 120$. So 240$ for tickets, the limo was 300 an hour, and making a reservation at the restaurant was 30$ itself. So in total, i spent about 600 dollars to make sure the night was a blast, or so I thought it was. The day before prom, in May, I had just finished my workouts and I got a text, I don't know how to put screenshots on this forum from my phone but I will if I can, but to summarize, she said she still had feelings for her ex and wanted to go to prom with him. So she left me, with all that in order, alone. So I did go to prom and i didn't let it get to me. I wasn't about to spend 600$ (i still had to pay for her reservation) and not have fun there. I still made the most of what I had, danced with some friends and so. After prom, last month in June, she texts me again, and starts to complain about how the guy she's with doesn't treat her right and how she wanted me back ha. All i said was, and i'll quote. "You made your choice, i'm not going to hate you, in fact i forgave you for that because what's the point in walking life being mad all the time. What you need to realize is every choice you make, good or bad, has an effect. Your choice to get back with him means I don't consider you loyal anymore. That doesn't mean we can't be friends, I just don't see you like that." Now she didn't reply, and that scared me because she's crazy. So earlier today, July 6th this morning, I was about to go to work, but my car was vandalized, my tires were slashed and it was keyed. And later that day after I had called the police, I got a 1 second snapchat (for those of you who don't know its an app where you send pictures to each other that delete themselves after a certain amount of time) from this girl. And she straight up said "I did it" and i wasn't quick enough to screenshot it for proof. But then I realized even if I did get her in trouble, what would that solve? She's messed up in the head and can't get over a fact that a guy doesn't want her back. But what I did learn from all this, it's that you may think you know somebody, but they could always be hiding something from you. That's about it. Hope y'all enjoyed my little story/rant.

Nice story. Sorry you had to experience this, though. After my first relationship I never trust women. You treat them right but in the end they just go running off to some total shit head, I can never understand them..

Well jesus christ, I feel for you, If this had happened with me, I'd have crucified her on the fuckin limo that night, 600$ is a lot of cash to be dicked at..I'd hate her for not even respecting the investment made, if I was the one who did all that..

Thank god I've got a gf with integrity, but yeah, girls tend to be quite the bitch type

Good story - i can't imagine a better way to handle it. Having had a similar ex (maybe same person) i think you made the best decision not to go after it further. Pursuing it would have given her the attention she was seeking, and just kept you ensnared longer. ♥

The first girl I liked was a super nice caring forgiving person however I have autism and told her to fuck off while I just wanted to hold her hand
