Rep in Forums

Just a thought- but I think it's weird that we have a rep system in game but no rep/de-rep button on the forums. I think it'd be a good addition to the posts so you can rep for good posts and de-rep for troll posts (assuming you rep'd previously). Also posters with more rep will gain posting credibility by having the amt listed. A good amount of forums have this sort of thing so I don't think it'd be a stretch to implement it.

What would be really cool would be something like what Facepunch forums implements. You can rate posts are dumb, funny, informative or whatever, criticise them for having stupid spelling and so on. It runs on the best forum software I've ever seen, quite literally. Would recommend.

I kinda like it.

It would make rep mean a little bit more then the utterly pointless addition to the game it is now. I can see this being abused a tad though.

Abused? Please explain to me your view so I may understand better.

As in, members of a certain AW community down voting posts by users they don't like for no reason. It isn't really a big deal as rep is pretty much pointless, but still, it is a form of abuse.

The de-rep button already exists, you wouldn't be able to de-rep someone you have not already rep'd.
