Extra information- completely fucked the game

IGN: Roleplay

Rule broken: Farming, backstabbing, gang bangs disquiesed as roleplaying, death of atwar, death of sanity, death of common sense, map stealing (no current roleplay is owned by the one who actually made the maps), destroys new players ability to understand the actual game (economy management, troop movement, ratios), gave birth to 90% of your low tier trolls(note this is not Waffel or death level trolling).

Map: Atwar

Evidence: Check the player base and 1v1 five rank sixes. (Bonus points if there name has nothing to do roleplay(ex. general boner))

Extra information: Single handedly ruined this games only chance at commercial success and left it to be little more then a risk clone with free movement.

Extra credit: Real map makers should of thought of this we could of retained are ability to black list trolls as a community, and avoided the first map maker strike.
Why are adog or fappy on there moreso adog but fappy aswell, none of you rp fags play there roleplays you prefer the more autistic copies of rp.

Lastly this should be moved to custom maps forum with ban appeals.

I personally think you're being salty. Everyone here has their own opinions n shit. I would also like to say that only chance at commercial success was ruined once we went to HTML5 and nothing has been the same since, so no, it's not because of RP, it's because of us downgrading. Atwar is what it is and has what it has to offer for a reason, that reason is because Ivan and Amok made it so you can have more than just Risk and Axis and Allies. So please, fuck off. We do not care about you and you wanting players who go after CWs all the time or players not knowing the game, as far as I'm concerned all you've done is go around complaining and bitching, instead of getting out there and actually helping an r5 or something to become as good as you. I have also posted this here because there is a section of MAP BAN APPEALS, not BAN REQUESTS. So, to keep things simple for Elijah and the rest of us here, we have made this. and I say it fits in even if its not suppose to be, because it's GENERAL DISCUSSION. Thank you, have a nice day.

Firstly, your from February 2014 you never experienced this game before roleplay/un/custom maps. You have 0 clue about what aw was and was supposed to be. So you have no idea where I'm coming from. Secondly I do bitch, alot, because I care, nothing else to be said about it. Aswell if your a fish and I'm a bird you will go your entire life without relising what I did in mine, iv trained dozens of players, you wouldn't know that because they would never play roleplay. This does not belong in general discussion. The definition of general discussion is this "anything aw related that doesn't belong in another forum" this belongs in custom maps therefor not liable to clog up our general discussion forum. As the tittle says, this is general DISCUSSION. There's no discusion with the community about there being a ban or not, that's something to discuss with the map owner alone.

As the tittle says, this is general DISCUSSION. There's no discusion with the community about there being a ban or not, that's something to discuss with the map owner alone.

Fairly sure something like this is against the rules in the first place...

EDIT: Not outright, but the rules can be interpreted to mean as such. They're a bit vague though and the mods should really add a new clause regarding this. Nevertheless:


Regarding 3.2: Posters are effectively petitioning for a person to be banned from a game or a map or both. Hence this clause is applicable.

Regarding 3.3: By calling them "leavers" or whatever you wish to call them, declaring that they have "fucked up a game" when they might have a legitimate reason for leaving, and posting information up for the whole of AW to see, you are defaming them. Hence this clause is applicable. Notably, only the part where Russia says he's leaving has been posted. He may have left because he was being harassed by other players, because his net was acting up suddenly etc. Despite this, only a small part has been displayed as "proof" that he's a leaver that purposely fucked up a game.

Regarding 3.5: This thread is liable to fit the criteria mentioned in this clause, and hence this clause is applicable.

As for the rest, I mean, we are discussing stuff on here, so technically, it is General Discussion, but I will gladly move this over to where it 'belongs' if requested by a mod/admin. and as for Hellykin, please mention the people you have helped and are currently active, because from what I'm seeing on the forums and posts from you, I do not see you helping any low ranks, etc. (Unless of course, you do it all in PMs in game.), and I know I wasn't here for Afterwind, but from what I'm reading here, it's either RP is cancer and is to blame, when AtWar is basically just filled with RP, like GoT, WW1, WW2, it's all in different forms, the one you consider cancer is the one with the most cities and the least to do. So it's either custom maps that put AtWar down or It's downgrading to HTML5, which one is it? I say it's downgrading, because everything points to it. (Thanks Google btw). I'm not trying to be mean here in any way or form, just stating my opinion.

A small list of players iv helped along over my 5 years here, there are those I Forgot about and those I'll exclude because they gained big heads now. Note they are no longer low ranks most of them because it been a looong time now, currently there is only one person worth helping, and I am currently waiting for his availability to open up to train him. His name is stay nice. He's a rank 6. Now the list.

As for your other statement your right, it's not just rp, rp is just the biggest problem. Custom maps need to be monitored and regulated heavily. Iv said this before.
