Okey, speaking of philipines particularly, do you know about philipine's economic situation and availability of education and jobs? Maybe that has something to do with society's poverty there and the fact they prefer to do drugs rather than work for no money and with poor conditions.

But those poor people aren't to be blame if they didnt do drugs. Not all poor people do drugs. Those people who did drugs are the one that cause harm to innocent people in phillipines..and also it has been deatroying the nation for years..drugs caused it..these drug addicts became worse not because they're poor..but because they do drugs..and they became addicted and keep wasting money buying it.

If they are that poor, then what money do they waste? And if they keep on buying drugs, that's because someone started a very effective advertising plan (probably taking advantage of their ignorance, so kudos to the educational system). Now that they are addicted, it is easy for you to criticise them for that but there's a story to it and I'm not sure we know it. Drugs didn't destroy the country, drug mafias did with the lack of attention from the government up to this point.

Like i said.mthose who turned themselves in are protected..those that got killed are the ones that doesnt want to turn themselves in to go into rehab..and some of them runaway from rehab...and still do drugs..not just, that they are willing to kill for drugs..so theyre kinda a danger to innocent people..im also sad that it has to go this way..but having a drug addict family memmber i can tell you that drug is doing harm not the the drug addict alone but also to his close ones aswell

you really think, that a country without sufficient medical care, would take care of drug addicts who turned themselves in, besides putting them into prison and letting some just die of withdrawl symptoms. afterwards the exact same problems come back, they will still have PTSD, no future or whatever led them to use drugs in the first place.

and shooting them, will simply make more people traumatized. imagine your father, being shot when you were 4. over 4 grams of marijuana. the measurements are in no relation to the danger posed by those individuals anyways.

Just in case you're refering to me, I should say that what I'm trying to do, unsuccesfully, is to show how poor people are not the ones (or the only ones) to blame for having gotten this addiction. Weed causes you a change of character, and can lead you to schizophrenia and it was demonstrated by several very important studies.With every consumption you become more addicted and you want more and more until you get too much and you die. I have read some stuff on Duterte's War on Drugs. Shotting drug carriers or suspected consumers on sight? Without the minimal trial? Wow man, in wars, when Martial Law is decreeted, sometimes even the traitors were given a minimal trial. The situation got out of hand in such a way that there are Death Squads patrolling the streets and killing people who they thnk are related to drugs? Wow, this is like on Stalin's time "the enemy of the people," you can label anyone with that and make him dissappear, thus eliminating all your enemies. Useful pretext, ain't it?

1: show me your proof that illegal drugs are twice harmful as alcohol.
2: show me your proof about this schizophrenia study and how weed can kill you.
3: I don't love drugs, I've actually never taken any except for alcohol, still I can behave realistically and without ignorant hate towards them.

I have major in drugs and am as alive as the day I was born.
Besides, general rule: in most cases it's not the drug that kills, but the general situation of poverty added to the consumption of bad (in terms of quality) drugs. Or, to put it in other words: poor drug consumer die, if you are rich (or at least wealthy) you can do drugs and maintain a standard of living.

I even know from the 90's one case in Serbia where son of Serbian premier died from drugs despite his father having millions of dollars he still died from 'quality' drugs, not to mention in Russia, kids of oligarchs, politicians and mafia. Or Ukraine, i can write for hours.

The only difference between poor and rich drug users is that rich users can afford large doses while poor need to steal thus creation crime. They both end the same way; death from overdose or organ failure.

You can keep lying to yourself that drugs are ok and sign of your freedom and choice, but in reality its a retarded thing that stupid people with weak character do. The only good thing is that drugs speed their death which is good selection for us humans: we, the smart ones live, while they die and make more room for us to use better.

not to mention that good parenting and education will create a human who does not consume tobacco, alcohol and drugs, so thats a trait to take into account when you see a junkie
