I was playing as Russia central and I was allied with turkey, all was going ok when suddenly turkey just got Russia central and a lot of my territories WHILE WE WERE STILL ALLIED, just want to know what happened, there is a way to attack allies? or it was just bug abusing?

You can take your allies cities if they have 0 units in their cities or vice versa

no problem , just if you think your allies are backstabers just leave adleast 1 unit in your cities so they cant take them

It's so your ally can take your territory if he has to go or wants to give you land, not for backstabbing

Allies sometimes need to transfer territory, especially if they are fighting in a common area and one player needs reinforcements or income. Transferring cities was part of the game design.
Only the lowest form of player takes his ally's territory with the intent to back-stab. It is self-serving, requires no skill, and provides insight into the character of the player doing this. (Dante's Inferno describes the deepest circle of hell, and within this deepest circle, is the deepest ring, reserved for traitors.)
Yes, you can keep a unit in the city to prevent it, but i often don't - i want to know who these degenerates are, so i can enemy list and not play with them in the future.
