I don't get it...

So dog fighting is illegal, yet boxing and MMA isn't. why is that? is it cause of the money involved? i don't think so, cause the fighters get paid and so does the winner of the bet. is it cause dogs are trained viciously to fight, cause the mma/boxers are too. is it cause we have free will to do as we choose? if you think about it, don't dogs kind of have that to? idk i'm just curious.

It's because people force dog fighting. Boxing and MMA are done by consent.

It's because people force dog fighting. Boxing and MMA are done by consent.

This. No one is forcing the MMA fighters to go at it. It's done at their own volition.

Well see, I train MMA by myself and even if most people think it's brutal, it is still a sport and about physical activity and respecting yourself and your opponent. There were less serious injuries in this sports history and as a human being I am able to decide by myself.
On the other hand, dog fights are to death or at least almost till death. These animals are badly treated and forced to fight by their owners. Maybe it's also about their instinct to fight, but it's not only this. It's a real torture for the dogs and they can't just say "No".

Btw, nice prejudice you have, Gardevoir. I guess you don't really know something about this sport.

To me anyone who kills another living thing should be severly punished, but I also believe everyone deserves a second chance, so Im not pro-execution.

So... I can't kill that fly that keeps boxing by my head. Daring me to duck it up

I kinda don't think MMA is all that brutal. Street fighting is more brutal. Even more when u bring guns to em. MMA is just people with some slim gloves punching and kicking each other. Anyway MMA fighter WANT to fight. Who knows if dogs what dogs want to do.
