i paid for a lifetime subscription to a military strategy gaming website, not a lifetime subscription watching people come up with some bulllshit like martians meet star trek or the roman republic redux. it's not about how pretty your fucking maps are, it's about how enjoyable the game is to play. create the game, the maps follow easy. create the maps without the game, and you'd be better off with art paper and a pencil than making us suffer through your creative angst until you find a job. and by the way, you 20 to 30 year olds who actually find it entertaining to announce shit like "i'm about to invade your capital"...i mean what the fuck...what is that? it's like some kind of disgusting pornography.
