I was always for resetting elo or some type of elo depreciation.
The people in the top 25 list really just want their name to be seen for everyone when they don't even play the game anymore. Looks to me like their deflated ego is all they have left really.
I just want to force people to duel more because its pretty boring when everyone sits on their elo.

To be honest elo is only the concerns of a few people. Garde post above is quite interesting, old players should make more guides and stuff, but in the end it's the staff call to make a proper tutorial, introducfion to the game with explanations about duels, clans, cws, the difference between " competitive " and " scenario ".
Also a big effort should be made to properly write down the rules of some maps, at the moment it's chaotic and increase the number of quarrels (like when the white walkers ally the wall in got political, just an example). Many beginners are blamed cause " they don't know the rules ", only because they haven't play this map 100 times and had no proper way to learn about its rules.
The integration process should be more elaborate, and only the system can properly do it (like it is for the tutorial, which is so old i don't actually believe it's still a thing).

Not everyone cares anymore nor does everyone want to play so many duels as consistently as you guys do over such a long period of time. I have been dueling since 2013 and I haven't even reached 1k nor could I possibly imagine getting way over 2k like some players here have.
Remove players from the highscore, who haven't played duels for 30days as it is the case with the SP highscore.
Might as well remove ELO system altogether.
Back when there was no ELO system game was running just fine and there were plenty of 1v1.
Also Wheelo what happened to you. You went from the guy who would post this

Now you've resorted to Ad Hominom. That's a telltale sign you're backed into a corner. You've somehow brought gays into the argument which demonstrates you have very poor debating skills. Please do tame down your fragile ego and focus on refuting the central point. This diagram might help you.
to a Mini-WD who provocates.

Mini WD? This was merely to get the ball rolling. Writing proper arguments takes time and energy. Now I just say the unfiltered truth and let the reader make his judgement.

Can the people just accept the fact that we don't care anymore?
I agree with this, "we" don't care anymore as we used to. So, with that being said, why not tighten up everything and make the game more appealing to the next wave? If we can tighten up and not get bogged down with petty drama amongst ourselves on how to go forward, I see this all working out in the end. Y'all are all talk, little action. I'm not super active myself so I won't go and make a 2093847502938457th post about the solution to atwar while also reminiscing on how good atwar used to be. Just fucking move on, I have, you should too. The old days are gone and not returning. If anything, lets just see what Dave has planned to tighten up the game a bit, and see what the future holds

Things are simple. Money needs to circulate. Money prizes, paid tournaments, payed mods. Better marketing, more videos, more training for new players, allowed gambling in pc, new graphics + few simple things.
Its all about no one cant deny that.
Without invest, we can stay where we are now, and wait for some miracle.
Also my signature got bugged...

In my opinion, competitive is dying due to boredom, repetitivenes, lack of innovation and imagination.... It's been too repeated, it's time to move on from that map
