Should probably just lock thread now, seems nothing more than a flame more than anything. I am sure clovis will take it up with you mods and players to see whats best for everyone.

I guess i just dont understand why we need to keep changing strats. like LB has been the same the whole time has it not?

people didnt realize the power of it until now......

it was just too crazy rolls with it. If i can beat players like Eagle and grom multiple times with it ( which are more experienced and better players than me) then it is probably too strong.

But it seems we've made some strats cancer over the years (RA, currently DS) and some strats simply unusable (Blitz). I think we need a little more backing to changing strats than a few screenshots on rolls. I'm speaking generally not, specifically here.

The recurring trend is that a few players with influence complain to the admins and then the strats get changed. I'd rather there be a little more democracy to these decisions rather than the Russian oligarchies running atwar

The whole strat changing process is experimental. Ra was accidentally overboosted by amok. Gw also an accidental boost. Ds was apparently always cancer. But it's so typical of players to focus on failures. The arrogance of players like yourself who think they can do better. Players who are not top tier and who cannot play strats to 100% efficiency. Lets ignore the fact that the so called "Russian oligarchy" advanced the strat meta from spamming pd sm and imp on every map and made almost every strat competitively relevant. Not to mention boosts to helis, antiairs and bugfixes to strats like nc and sm where transports were defending before militia randomly. Bet you didn't even notice that. Or even that they boosted hw to some bit of relevance so the players like you who enjoy playing it could use it without getting stomped.

But youre right sultan lets have more democracy and boost lb the 2nd weakest strat.



I'm locking this for now until clovis reopens the topic. Theres nothing more to be gained from further discussion.
