Wall-ing

Hello guys, I'm a pretty new player here in Atwars (I think my 4th day here). I just wanna know how do you "wall". Like this strat talks off (http://atwar-game.com/forum/topic.php?topic_id=2411).

ex. "First, I walled ALL my cities. "

Can you help me with this?

It's really helpful. I have another question though, what do you get from "walling"? Does it provide more protection to cities/capitals?

Sorry for the super newb follow up question. I really wanna' learn this game.

Also, walling a city gives you info on where your enemy wishes to attack, especially if he is stealth (Master of Stealth or Guerilla Warfare) or even with long range strategies like Blitz or Sky Menace.

Also, it forces your enemy to go through 2 turns just to take a city/capital.
