Has anyone been having lag issues?

I haven't played since the game changed to At War. However I was planning on coming back, but just tried playing with a friend and man, this thing is lag. We had 2 turns which our movements/attacks never happened, we tried creating rooms and it didn't happen after clicking "continue" and other few "bugs". Have anyone have the same problem after the game was updated? Or maybe it's because Silverlight need to download all the data again? Or anything at all?

This happened only today, everyone had it, probably a server failure.
