It's not like she didn't had a choice is it? Democracy is simple, obey the votes, period. People voted to leave EU and she manipulated it, tried to prolong it as much as possible, to change it, and it didn't work. And do note EU is not the biggest problem for UK, yet see how much drama they created about it. What if people voted some other problem to be addressed, like immigration? May would be assassinated.

The people voted to leave the European Union mainly due to immigration fears and lack of transparency over money sent to the EU. In fact voters were manipulated into thinking the money would go to the NHS instead. Theresa May secured both of these while preserving the British economy. She had to resign because the ERG have too much influence in the conservative party and they want a hard brexit.

It is rude to say 'voters were manipulated', and redundant to say 'Brexit will be soft or hard'. Unnecessary adjective to make the issue seem complicated than it is. Politicians view voters as children... I believe we can agree that's not the truth, surprising or not, people do their homework before voting. There are plenty of historical examples to use, even in modern times. Sure the paperwork would be hell to finish, but that's what 8h workday excentric coffein-addicted bureaucracy is for. For example i've heard Scotland is scared into supporting Stay via EU paperwork - since Scotland said it will join EU on its own if England leave, apparently EU then tried to scare them by adding more paperwork (taxes, customs, laws, fees) for new applicants. It is not the subject to delve deeper. It is just another politician-made topic for the plebs, deliberately made for us to waste time and nit-picking facts they added just for that reason. I already regret spending time reading articles, watching videos about Brexit, Catalonia secession, Palestine-Israel conflict, US-Iran stand off, Crimea crisis. The only topic worth discussing from 2010 to 2019 is 2015 mass MENA migration.

You just go around and mock people, maybe Tik-Tok was right about your kind... Atleast he and others are trying to have conversation and continue to play this game together, we are all here for the same reason. Unlike you. You are starting to disgust me. Nothing more than frustrated little bot spreading hate and trolling.

This is a biased opinion, like "what I always wanted to tell you". The fact that I chose a caricature to answer to your post DOES NOT mean I'm mocking you, nor does it mean that I just randomly pick threads to answer with an image. The message I'm bringing forwar with the image is: "NO, voters were not informed when depositing vote on Brexit!" There has been manipulation, misleading information, alternate facts, etc. This is my opinion and it differs substantially from your opinion. Now tell me, is this mocking?! Is it wrong to pick a different way to answer to the enation of monologues (you call them conversation, I don't)? Finally, what do you mean with "your kind"? What is "my kind"? And, how would you know?
What double standards?

Brexit is a problem created by Britain. It claimed lands that did not belong to them, murdered innocents and starved millions. Britain's history is so bloody that it's being white-washed by their education board; the Irish and Indian famine isn't taught in their schools. History is now coming back to haunt it at the Irish border.
Voters are often manipulated. Populists do this most effectively, by pushing false or misleading slogans. I.e. promising the world. This works most effectively on the uneducated, typically working class members of society. These people need somebody to blame for their problems and populists give them this reason. E.g. Trump pushing an anti-immigration narrative, despite the fact that the United States is a country built on immigration.
Scotland and NI voted to stay in the EU so I understand why they would want this, but why would the EU not want Scotland to remain in the EU though? I suppose it adds more complexities and special cases, indirectly breaking up the union, something the EU doesn't want. The main issue is the Northern Irish border, the issue is quite complex and so far nobody has found a solution. Vox explain it well; (note the top comment in the comment section.)
Conspiracy theory.

Simple: If Scotland secede, they could join EU easy, so EU needs Scotland to stay with England within UK, thus having leverage against Brexiters. If Scotland leave UK (or just join EU on its own), EU will lose England/UK forever, as they would turn towards USA or other blocs, nothing to stop them. I'll use one apparently controversial example, but i must because i think it is the most similar: Russia needs Donetsk & Lugansk to stay in Ukraine, thus having leverage against Ukraine joining NATO. If Donetsk/Lugansk break, they will easily join Russia, and now Ukraine doesn't have obstacle to join NATO, because those who opposed, left. Imagine having competitive players in opponent clan on AW, and they keep CWing with you, despite majority in that clan wants to play RP and abandon CW. If those competitive players leave and join your clan, you won't have with whom to cw anymore, and opponent clan will start RPing. Therefore it is in your interest they stay in opponent clan.
If anyone on AW is distant from conspiracy theories, that's me... I don't believe in illuminati, masonry, jewry, zionism, cultural marxism etc I was just referring to discussing world events, and if majority agree those events happened, then its hardly conspiracy theory.

"NO, voters were not informed when depositing vote on Brexit!" Nonsense. There was months of debate from both sides. 'Project Fear' was well in effect and remainers promised nuclear war if the UK left the EU. The only real disinformation from the Brexit side was the message which clung to non-European immigration. Farage would stand in front of billboards with lines third world refugees entering Europe. The refugee crisis had a big impact on the UK and the demands to take them in by the EU terrified the electorate. Immigration and Sovereignty were the main issues as to why people voted to leave but Farage fails to mention that third world immigration is still in the hands of Parliament. Regardless, the fear of Germany forcing these economic immigrants on to the UK holds true. Electoral manipulation occurs from both sides in Democracy and it's really twisted to claim only one side is guilty of this. You should know this pretty well since you were a major support of SYRIZA who bluntly sold out the electorate, sold out their policies and caved to mass EU privatisations of Greek infrastructure. Brexit is necessary and was the largest vote in British history. No mandate has ever existed with that much public power or support. No government in British history has received that many votes in both sheer number or population percentage. Personally, I hope they overturn it. I hope they have the balls to reject such a major democratic vote and prove to the public that Democracy is a lie and always has been. We shall see how long Liberal Democracy survives after such a massive betrayal and an exposure of how power truly operates under Liberalism.
Tito waffles a bit, he's hyper-opinionated, tends to use emotional argumentation with a touch contradiction but he still stands his ground. There's a certain amount of respect when debating him because he's willing to have a conversation despite opposing worldviews. You on the other hand tend to avoid debate. You don't hold any respect for opposing worldviews and any attempt to have such a conversation results in snarky rebuttals. I remember it being infuriating.
I think he means 'Marxist Anarchist'.
I don't know what they are specifying but you have some really funky contradictions in your worldview. You're anti-capitalist and anti-state yet you support the largest, bureaucratic, neo-liberal federation in the world which has almost no oversight or possibility of reform that focuses on austerity and privatisation. The EU backed the Spanish clampdown on Catalonia. They bankrupted Greece and forced a socialist government to deny its own people. It has ignored a dozen democratic referendums and forces its own states into massive debt. Your worldview makes no sense. The lack of consistency is really annoying. Either you hold no fortitude in what you think, or you think you're better than everyone else. You complain of social manipulation in a liberal democratic referendum but how would an open anarcho social democracy be any different? You would ban specific politics, ideas, words etc but you would claim to be democratic and 'tolerant'. The worldview you project is radically different to what it actually is. Just admit you're an authoritarian. There's nothing wrong with it.
