New units?

We should add new units. My idea of a new unit is a stealth defense unit, Same defense and attack as infantry but 1-2 less range and 40-50 more cost. It will be available just like the marine units so that means the only way to get them is to have a set strategy that gives you them or an upgrade to always have them available for the rest of your games.
If anyone has any ideas for new units please add, and please be specific with your new unit description, the better the description the easier it is to imagine and consider!

Maybe visible while moving and not visible while in cities? or vice-versa? might make it better.
How about a Anti-Naval unit? Just like how there is an Anti-Aircraft unit.

You have anti air to counter Sm, now we need anti infantry machine gunners and anti tank infantrymen

Basically the poor man's infantry, with a heavier focus on defense rather than offense.

Stealth Attack, 70 cost
4 attack
4 defense (+1 in defense line/city, +1 against main attack)
5 critical
6 range
Think you can take that empty city? Think again...

Motorized Infantry
Secondary Attack, 120 cost
6 attack
6 defense
5 critical
7 range
Because sometimes, you just can't decide whether you want three infantry or two tanks.

Scheduled Flight
Air Transport, 650 cost, stealth
1 attack
2 defense
2 critical
9 range
3 capacity (can only carry ground stealth units)
Partisans and/or Marines in a nondescript commercial Boeing 747! Nobody will suspect a thing!

I don't know much about balancing, so comments?

This is just my opinion: I like the partisan unit quite much

On the other hand, Garrison remind me of simple militias. Motorized infantry seems a bit wierd, but could work (I just don't know what to think about it XD) and I'm not entirely convinced about the stealth air transport... hm... why paying that much when you can do the same with either submarines or simple air transports...? (It's description is OP funny though )

Yeah. The Garrison unit was intended as a halfway unit between militia and infantry.
Hmm... maybe 650 cost for Scheduled Flight, then?

Hm... I'm not fully convinced about the necessity to have Garrisons as a regular unit... as rare might work though.
As for the stealth... in real necessity of using an air trans I'd rather use the normal air trans since it has more capacity and less price (it would be a really wierd circumstance for me to need a stealth air trans). The idea is not bad though, maybe when playing MoS or SM it could come in handy cause of the lowered price.

Changed Garrison a bit to make it more interesting.

How about this, take and clone a world map, don't change any of the map, but create all your units you have ideas for. Then people can play the map and see if any of your unit ideas help or deter the game play. Then if they test out good and players like them, then you start trying to push getting them made into default units. I feel until you do that, then all this discussion without any sort of testing is really quite pointless.

A stealth defence would drive people off the game and completely insane as well
