"Remakes for trolled games, not for pathetic reasons"

You know what is a major problem for ATWAR? Remakes. You know what causes the majority of remakes? People who yell remake because 1 - 6 puny countries (not important) leaves then everyone else agrees that the game is ruined when you still have Russia, China, USA, UK, France, Germany, Brazil, Mexico, Canada, India, Japan, You get my point.

At least anywhere from 75% - 90% of remakes is due to people deciding that the game is ruined. I completely understand if you need to remake because people trolled the game, but when you play for 10 turns and up to 6 not important nations decided to leave between turn 5 - 10, it will not kill you to continue on with the game. If you want to make it fun then start a war.

There is no excuse to remake a game when you have your key players in it and I'm tired of seeing people quit games over stupid pathetic reasons just to have a remake. It really surprises me that people are actually that hasty to assume that the game is ruined because 6 non important nations left. Like you already spent an hour playing that game don't just leave it for pathetic reasons.

I'm sure a lot of people on ATWAR agree with me and I'm sure we want to do something about it, well help me spread the word "Remakes for trolled games, not for pathetic reasons" in global to raise awareness to help me fix this problem we have in our community and perhaps people will realise that remakes have become a HUGE problem for everyone who just wants to play a game.

I for one work 2 jobs so It's hard for me to play this game anymore and when I do want to play it I want to play the entire game through but when people want to remake over pathetic reasons it annoys the fuck out of me because I just wasted all that time playing it for nothing.

So please spread this message "Remakes for trolled games, not for pathetic reasons" on global and in room chat, spam it if you feel like it but mods may mute you so BE WARNED. Lets do our best to reduce the number of remakes and only reserve remakes for trolled games, not for pathetic reasons OK?

Maybe it is because people play the game to enjoy far more than to win. I don't mind a remake in case it is ruined. I will rather waste my time on remake to have a good game than go on playing on one that is ruined.

The problem is after 10 turns.. politics are set

it also happens alot after someone in EU rogues.. and 6 jump on him.
They are all friendly from that moment because they speak about deviding the rogues land.

Leavers ruin games, this is pointless to say otherwise, in preset games like scenarios its even more important because every faction is important.

I agree with that statement but by raising awareness perhaps we can reduce the amount of leavers, trolling, and quitting the game for ridiculous reasons by at least 10%.

This thread is useless. We can already ban people from maps, and those annoying people who shout REMAKE, just ignore them/ban them from your games. Ignore those annoying people.

If you think for example that Manchuria or Thailand or Romania (small countries) are meaningless in a WW2 game, then you clearly never played that game. One of these coutnries can make the difference between loss and win.

Fight both brazil, free france, uk and USA because noob vichy left on turn 6 is also very fun

fight Russia as manistein with noob romania.... nothing more challenging that this :p

You might find fun = challenging, but it does make it seriously much harder to win.

you can't quote what I didn't write on here first off. Secondly my opinion matters just as much as anyone else's opinions. Thirdly I can't control who joins if Im not hosting the damn game. Lastly, Some people don't follow map owner's ban list so this thread is very important.

Now relating to WW2 the smaller countries do matter due to it been a team game, where a rp game, you don't need the small countries. There is a difference and there are valid reasons to remake but in rp we shouldn't have to worry about smaller nations if they leave as they don't make much of an impact on the game.

Surely you got me wrong here, I agree to remake with reasonable reasons but not for stupid reasons, but everyone resorts to it, im hoping at least people would understand and have a clearer mind on whether they should remake or not, I also know that some people on here don't give a shit and well it sucks to be us but just tell them to fuck off and don't let them play.

Anyways the whole point of this is to at least reduce stupid remakes that have no sensible reasons behind it.
