A new year, still no map editor

On a real note though, a lot of us paid money specifically because we enjoyed using the map editor and making dank maps. I've had a map image I spent a good week making sitting in my pictures folder for the past six months waiting for the new map editor to come out.

Silverlight map editor still functions fine though. not like you cant make maps.

I haven't even played a game on the HTML 5 version, last game I played was 399 days ago, haha. I just play around with the map editor when I come on. Eastern Terror has been a WIP for far too long, uses population data from various sources. Just time consuming.
Silverlight editor does work fine, though there is a bug where not all of my maps are showing up in the HTML 5 version that are showing up in the Silverlight version.

They tell us its 95% but thats lie!

i use firefox and yea it has been bugging but fixing the bugs would probably be quicker than finishing the new 1

That's not necessarily true, there have been many cases where even sl won't work for some people

Also times when you've spent 3 hours bordering and it crashes and you lose all of it

I will enter Silverlight editor, and the game will tell me it's discontinued and forces me to go to the lobby.

You should be saving every time you complete a map section. I've been doing that for years due to these disconnects.

I usually take a shiton of time to complete a border since I don't like doing nothing but clicking the map for half an hour in a row so I take breaks

Yeah i cant even activate the silverlight map editor. Whenever i enter it says that it is discontinued and it forces me into the lobby. Am I doing something wrong?

I don't even get error messages anymore. I try to open editor and I just get a black void on my screen.

Actually I believe he's just like me. He starts things gets really passionate then loses motivation and never finishes it. I have 46 maps iv never finished because of this. It's a personality disorder. Diference being is once I take a break I can usually revisit and regain the passion later. But it's been two years now for him....
