Tips for dealing with family?

I'm stuck in one of those near-divorced / never does anything kind of family's, and I'd rather just leave at this point than deal with the bullshit any longer. Any ideas on what I can do to try and help fix this mess? I mean, my parents will tell me one day

Parents: "We're going to do *insert fun thing here*, how's it sound?"
Me: "Sounds awesome! "

-Later-

Me: "Hey what happened to *insert fun thing here*?"
Parents: "Oh, we forgot. Sorry, you're contempt with your *insert thing I haven't done since I was 4 here* right?"
Me: "..."
Parents: "Ok, good! Your mother's going to go sob in the living room and your father is going to go sit and do nothing for 24 hours!, have fun!"

What do?

I have sucked it up. And now I'm a mess of a human without discipline and without a hero or a leader or a father and a mother. Nufi', sucking it up is the worst thing you can ever do.

hell i sucked it up and am a happy child(but first two years of the divorce were hard) you probably thought things would never get better but i did and am now a happy person

M'yep. Just think, in 3 and a half years you never have to speak to them again.

I won't be financially stable until i'am at least 20, so try 6 years.

You don't need to be financially stable to just leave and do whatever you want without having to worry about asking mummy and daddy.

I won't have a job, so no way to pay for a place to live, food, and bills.

If they suck together they will be better alone, don't worry with that.

Your parents are unhappy in their relationship? Nothing you can do about.
You are upset about your family? Yeah, the usual tennager problems. .
Your parents continue to dissapoint you? Get over it or/and expect less.
Besides going to something that was fun when you were 4, might not be that much fun today.

Also, dissapointments are a very important part in the process of becoming an adult.
They kind of prepare you on how life works. You rely on others? Prepare for dissapointments.

I guess the most of us felt like everything was shit, when they were younger.
Somewhen they just get over it or realize it wasn't that bad. Same case for you I guess.

Whatever. . tl;dr
Keep crying or accept the things the way they are, you are not in the position to change them after all.

It's hard to get over it when I don't know what family feels like :/

If you can't deal with it alone, search for professional help. Family therapists or psychologists probably give you better advices than a bunch of trolls and underage aw-players here.

I'll build on that and tell you to try to accept it. Acceptance is the most important thing when trying to live with something or someone.

I'm not saying you should find it ok. I'm saying you just have to recognize there's nothing you can do about it (yet). Once you're able to accept, it's not that much of a problem any more. It still will suck, but you won't be the one to suck it up.

Here's a quote from a "prayer" I have found a long time ago (it's not only true but quite hilarious as well, but for now I'll just post the relevant part):

"Grant me the Serenity to accept the things
I cannot change,
The Courage to change the things I cannot accept..."

I'd say do what you can about it, maybe try talking to them or, in case you think it won't work out, to someone who might be able to help. And think about good things in life. Think about what you like and work for maintaining or achieving it, even if that might seem like a lot of work. I'm sure you'll find that some things are worth it. (^_^)

I never really knew my dad, (All I know about him is that he looks like me) but if you need money all I can say is hustle hard. (Cuz thats all I know how to do)

You have only one solution, with hard as fuck steps:
1.find a way to earn enough money to sustain yourself
2. Remove yourself from the dysfunctional environment

Now in doing this fast, you will most likely fail, and if you do, know its not your fault
