I see that many participants dont got general.....so could be a balance if those that got dont use it....what do u think?

I doubt the ones that have generals have much general upgrades but maybe when a premium user is playing with a non premium user he wouldn't be allowed to use his general? I'll think about it, thanks.

we have an ongoing tournament in our clan, and those who have a general take it out of the pile and leave it in a corner of the map unused

Alright so I understand that non premium players playing against non premium players won't be able to play with rare units off nor extra cities. In which case I ask that all participants whom this pertains to ask me or a premium user, supporter or moderator to host the game which most will happily preform.

I can't watch every game and make sure but I'm leaving it up to the sportsmanship of the player on whether he'll throw the unit away. Honestly, it's never been a problem in any tourney I've hosted or in many CWs I've played so it's not a big deal. If you want to use it, you should.
