Why hasn't the map editor been fixed yet?

I feel like Half-Life 3 will come out before this editor gets fixed! I mean, is the dev team working on it? I never noticed any mentions...

This has been discussed in more detail in several other forums, but to answer your question, Amok, the progammer behind the editor, has insufficient time to devote to finishing the editor for html5.

There is a work around using silverlight and the old map editor. Speak to any map-maker and they can get you started.
