Report an error Expected behavior: When I clone the "World Map" I expect the borders to be cloned and that movement by sea and land is possible in the correct way Real behavior: If I try to clone the "World Map", if I check Malaysia and Indonesia, with the editor it is fine, but if they are selected at the beginning of the park they can be selected from the sea. If I try to move with ground troops on the Malay peninsula and on the islands of Sumatra and Borneo it will not work, if I try to pass by ship between the islands of Indonesia in some places it is not possible, this error also occurs in the sea around Japan and to Great Britain Steps to reproduce the behavior Clone the "World Map" Information: Browser: Version 84.0.4147.89 (official build) (64 bit) OS: Windows 10 latest update Other relevant information: example of how borders in Indonesia are cloned https://drive.google.com/file/d/1bm9XC9R1MGsm2oRI8wgVfTh4BlOTEQz0/view?usp=sharing 2 other links where I reported the error and which shows that it always does it to other users as well https://it.atwar-game.com/forum/topic.php?topic_id=43212 https://it.atwar-game.com/forum/topic.php?topic_id=45275

I've cloned the world map just now, and it worked fine for me. Search the maps for the one called "World Map cloned by Dave on 2020-10-11" and you can see for yourself. Maybe you have some browser add-on that's blocking some scripts. Try it in Incognito mode (or a Private tab, depending on your browser) and see what happens... Also what browser are you using? You posted the version only, it doesn't say which browser exactly. (I mean is it Chrome, Firefox, or something else?)

Yes, as I said before, I need a vacation, sorry, I use Chrome, however I also tried with IE and Edge, always incognito and on 2 different computers However the map you created only works in the editor but when a game starts it has the errors reported I put some pictures https://drive.google.com/file/d/1e72byu_9xveHaUZAU0yKhZ8yI4zAJnas/view?usp=sharing https://drive.google.com/file/d/1DenhOq7GvA34YwY_nFtUQ3tMvHWWOy2i/view?usp=sharing https://drive.google.com/file/d/1dJ5Zdv3y0d3XUUQqgHKUuJ44QfgZG_1b/view?usp=sharing this test I did it with "Microsoft Edge" not incognito, Version 86.0.622.38 (Official Build) (64 bit) Also these are examples, as "Yacer" pointed out in: https://it.atwar-game.com/news/news.php?news_id=302&page=&message_id=743066#m743066 also in other parts of the world such as Mongolia, Colombia, Great Britain and other points from similar errors

Forum topic is misleading .. i get same bugs of land units moving on water and ships on land for many cloned custom maps .. its a known bug that has been present for ages i suggest renaming forum topic to: cloning world map is buggy rather than doesnt work

Yes, I agree with renaming the topic as suggested. I have also experienced the same problem as described by Eridans on several world maps that I have cloned. Specifically: "If I try to move with ground troops on the Malay peninsula and on the islands of Sumatra and Borneo it will not work, if I try to pass by ship between the islands of Indonesia in some places it is not possible, this error also occurs in the sea around Japan and to Great Britain." I will also quote the game instructions that I provide to players before they join a game: "There is a known bug with the map editor. The Malaysian peninsula looks like land but acts like water. The work around is to treat Kuala Lumpur as an island port and the Malaysian peninsula as water navigable by ships." Finally, I have successfully cloned other non-world maps, some recently, without experiencing any boundary problems: https://atwar-game.com/games/?link=7667142553 I am using a macMini 2014, running macOS Catelina 10.15.7 and Chrome Version 86.0.4240.75 (Official Build) (x86_64).

@Eridans I see the problem now, thanks. It's not that the cloning doesn't work, it's the weird borders you get afterward. @Mesopotamia good idea, I've renamed the topic of this thread.

This is now fixed. You can clone the World Map (or any map) and it won't have the weird border issues. (For example, see the map "World Map cloned by Dave on 2020-10-13")
