Free Playoffs from the chains of 10k EU+

Make possbile choices for Play Offs: for example 10k Eu+ // 5k Eu+ // 3k Eu+ // 10k East Asia new Map // 5k East Asia New Map
(basically every map in every part of World on new and old map)

Both Clans can choose 2 of 5 games. The 5th game is agreed upon. If no agreement met -> 10k Eu+.

That way we can stop EU+ 10k Normieism and will probably make New Map more popular.

We need to allow 3k 5k cw in play offs to fight cancer!

The meta team and I had originally planned for this on the new world map. Every season would have a different finals map/setting in rotation. Would make games far more interesting instead of our typical 6 turn clan war finals we currently have in Europe.

East asia I agree, but EU 3k/5k sucks. Also eu+ 10k is the default map you can play east asia for playoffs but both clans have to agree. USA (New map) 3k/5k/10k is also fun to play on.

both sides wont agree tho, cause most competetive players only know eu+ 10k, thatswhy we should allow each clan to choose 2 of 5 playoff maps/settings. 5th map can be default EU+ 10k if both dont agree on another map

i think the end result of this will be that even eu+ 10k exclusive players will find play offs and cw / competitive scene more interesting

I don't mind playing settings like USA/East asia on new map but some settings really suck, like EU+ 3k/5k, Africa, latin america, mideast.

Some players don't want to play anything else. For example some players barely played the new map, but they also want to win the season it's going to be harder for them to win, it's normal for them to not play anything else than EU+ where they're the best (they're pussies).

At the same most players would start learning 10k asia east or other settings instead of doing the same expansions with the same strats in the same countries of the same map. This way also more noobs could be drawn in into the competetive part of atwar cause they could specialize in certain maps for a start where the experts dont have many years of experience on them.

I agree with the last part, when new map was out we could see a lot of new players on east asia 3v3/4v4, we could USA 3v3 few 5v5 and 6v6 in USA. But as I said, if they don't want to learn how to play East asia and if they're the playoffs default map, they might just quit.

You just said the most important point here. Competitive players' base is Europe+ 10k and biggest competence is being on such settings - since ever.
Like 98% of total number of clan wars are played on such settings. And playoffs are being the most competitive part of CW seasons.
Math is simple, if there is both-sided agreement about another settings, why not. Well, if there is no both-sided agreement, then it should be played on default competitive settings without any further messy ideas, just because couple of guys suddently start adoring another settings/maps as they struggle to adapt on default one. (talking generally, not pointing anything at you or anyone individually)

Regarding 1k / 3k / 5k games, it's a complete lottery, not competitiveness.

Changing playoffs default map would change the map during the season, for example if east asia+ for 3v3 and east asia for 2v2 are the default map next season, you can be sure most people will play it during the season to train on it, but people who don't want to change map would just quit the game or at least this season.

Letting clan pick 2 maps is just weird, because some maps really suck or some players never played it, imagine FO gets to playoffs but picks a scenario(which is allowed), other clans don't play scenario and only eu+ so they can already give up 2 games, FO would have 3 games in Eu+ they only have to win 1 of them. We can also use 1k/3k eu+ games only based on luck no skills needed anything can happen, how that's competitive it's just a fun setting.
To fix this problem we can have a list of maps that can be played during playoffs, East asia, USA and Eu+, we can also add maps like ancient, Dreamworld and some other maps forgot the name.

Also instead of picking 2 maps the highest elo clan gets to pick 3 Map, game 1/3/5 and other one 2/4, it would make elo ranking more important.
I also think we should say what map we're going to play few days before the round to be able to make plans, we like to come up with something edgy for playoffs like last season we played DS UK agaisnt evolve, can't find weird shit in 5 mins and do it perfectly (DS UK isn't as easy as you think if you don't use your reinfs correctly u end up rfing and that sucks everything as to be planned, money, units and range)
