I don't know how practical it would be to do this, but sense game is in age of great change I think we should add some kind of Morale into the game. Even more and likely been recommend before.
I even have a ideal how it can be deployed.

The scale will be from 1 to 100. 75 to 100 the forces will be at tip top shape and will suffer no loss of stats. At levels 50 to 75 your units will suffer minus 1 points in effected stats. I don't if it should be all round or just targeting a feel stats, but attack and defense will almost certainly suffer. At 25 to 50 it would -2. and 1 to 25 minus -3.
All units at the beginning of the game of 100 morale points, but losing battles will start to decrease them, while victories will keep it in prime condition. Also the greater the loss or victory, the greater the effect on morale. For example, lets say player 1 has 20 tanks and players 2 has 40. If player 1 attacks and destroy all 40 tanks with his 20, it would affect both sides morale more then if he attack with Equal number of tanks of player 2. there will be some kind of population morale, which will affect new units that are builded.

No please no ...why everyone wants more complications in the game.

What is next: 1. terrorist units
2. riot control police
3. gas stations for tanks and airplanes
4. when you kill a general you take his lunch money
5. food for the troops
6. red cross and hospitals
7. wounded soldiers
8. prisoners of war
9. anti war movements in countries
10. religion
11. high morale strategies
12. and more unnecessary ideas
13. and even more silly ideas

I like them all, support. lel

Well I think it's other way around. Everyone want more and more simple games from what I can tell. More complicated games, more factors, more things to consider = more thinking. New games are getting simpler and simpler day by day (in general fortunately not all). I personally like more and more factors and little things to control, but I don't see how morale could work in a game where losing a battle means all your unit died. There is no pull back option to save your units. You win and have 100 morale or you lose and have no morale at all. Would there be radius in which your units would suffer morale loss? Losing a capital of a country would lower morale of all units in that country? only in the cities?
Morale works well in RTS like Dawn of War but here there is only one tactic in a battle: Not one step back! You win or die...
