When I hit play it goes to a black screen

After I log in, I hit play button to bring up the current games. It looks like its loading then nothing ever does and the screen stays black. Not sure what to do.

You need to install silverlight to play this game.

Right click and install atWar. If still not working, try clearing your cache, reloading, F5ing, dunno.

Right click and install atWar. If still not working, try clearing your cache, reloading, F5ing, dunno.

What does F5ing do? (My function keys do not work with this special keyboard.)
I have done the following:
1. Uninstalled and reinstalled Atwar desktop app.
2. Uninstalled and reinstalled Silverlight.
3. Cleared cache and cookies
4. Tried on multiple browsers
5. Made sure that browser settings were correct (not usng "In private", etc.)

(Perhaps more that isn't coming to me right this second.)

F5 just reloads the page, sometimes that fixes it for me lol.

Hmm I have no idea what's the problem, sorry.

Having the same problem... Tried updating flash and java thinking it may be a problem there, tried reloading the game, restarting my computer, the silverlight stuff. Not really sure what to do.

Try downloading the game from the website. Just go to the main page(where you log in) and scroll down till u find:

Guys i have the same problem and cant really solve it. Have read another topic with same problem and they didnt fixed it either. But i got to say that i can play this game on the other computer and black screen thing only happend on my nootebook with W7, got the other computer with XP and it works just fine there. I tried to reinstal java, flash, silverlight, run this with downloadable version but nothing really helped. I even deleted caches. I wonder what is this doing.

I finally fixed it. I tried to download the latest version of silverlight from offical microsoft web instead of downloading the one that atwar wants you to download when you click play online.

I have the same problem, I usually just refresh.

Just try clearing cache and cookies. It happened to me too and I cleared my cache and cookies and now it's working fine.

I have literally tried uninstalling everything re-installing everything, and "just hitting refresh". Basically, I have done everything aside from formatting my computer. Still nothing. Nothing at all. I have checked the forums, and there's nothing here that gives a good or educated answer aside from "I don't know". Since that's the same answer I have to this question, I was hoping for more reliable information to fall back on.

Use Chrome.
In Windows (assuming you are using windows) open Silverlight and update.
If Silverlight is updated go to storage and delete content.
Open browser and clear history/cache.
Try again.
Check if anti-virus and/or browser is not blocking Silverlight.
