When a player joins on turn 1 in a casual game, they don't get reinforcements. Many players in Casual game don't join while the game is still on turn 0, in fact, I'd even say nearly all the players (excluding hosts) don't join Casual games on turn 0. This is a significant disadvantage, as people who join only a tiny bit later don't have reinforcements. We're applying an element of Quick games into Casual games, or rather, non-Instant Join games to Instant Join games. Seeing that this hasn't been brought up much before, I'm curious. Is there a specific reason why people don't get reinforcements on turn 1?

Totally agree. You should be able to 'Hold Start' on a casual game, without having to stay in the game to do so. It would also put more players on the same reinforcement schedule, rather than the host always getting fresh troops one turn ahead of everyone else.

I don't know why this happens, but on the following turn they get the reinforcements. But certainly the host has an expansion advantage.
